Why Choose Us?

Founded in 1955, Recovery Resources’ mission is to help people triumph over mental illness, alcoholism, drug and other addictions. We are a provider of prevention, education, treatment and recovery services for people diagnosed with mental illness and/or addiction.

When you invest your philanthropic support, employee support, and lend your name to our efforts, you make a statement to your customers that you care about the health and well-being of Northeast Ohio.  In return for your support, we are committed to customizing a partnership opportunity that will align with your company’s priorities.

Why We Need You?

  • Of all drug users, 68.9% are employed and active in the workplace, according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA)
  • 9 million people in the U.S. have alcohol dependence or abuse problems. That’s 7% of the population, according to the Coalition on Drug Abuse.
  • An estimated 26.2% of Americans ages 18 and older - about 1 in 4 adults - suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year, according to the National Institute of Mental Health.
  • For every dollar spent on prevention, treatment and recovery, the government spends almost $60 responding to the consequences of substance abuse. Studies indicate that every dollar spent on substance abuse prevention services saves an average of $10 in the long-term, according to SAMHSA.
