KEY TREATMENTS
At Recovery Resources, we specialize in treatment for addiction, gambling and other behavioral health issues.
Addiction
Whether an individual needs treatment for the early stages of substance use or has been dependent on drugs and/or alcohol for a long time, Recovery Resources can help. Our addiction treatment programs include:
- Outpatient treatment
- Intensive outpatient treatment (IOP)
- Dual diagnosis programs
- Partial hospitalization program
- Women and family services program
- Medication-assisted treatment
Recovery Resources offers gender-specific programming, as appropriate.
Gambling
Recovery Resources is one of the few providers in Cuyahoga County to specialize in gambling services. Through our gambling programs—made possible by funding from the Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Alcohol, Drug, and Mental Health Board of Cuyahoga County—we’re able to provide individual, couple and family counseling. We can help problem gamblers and their loved ones learn the skills that are needed to address gambling addiction.
Behavioral health
We take a comprehensive, holistic approach to helping individuals with behavioral and mental health conditions. Our services include:
- Behavioral health counseling
- Medical management services
- Intensive outpatient treatment for persons with dual disorders
- Community psychiatric supportive treatment services
Walk-in now assessments
You can walk into our Old Brooklyn facility between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday – Friday for an assessment. Appointments also can be scheduled by calling 216-431-4131.
Warm Line support
The Warm Line is a peer-support phone line available to all adult residents of Cuyahoga County who may be experiencing mental illness and/or substance abuse problems.
Peer Support volunteers who staff the Warm Line are trained to provide a listening ear, make appropriate referrals and connect you to crisis intervention service providers as appropriate. They provide emotional support and understanding, share experiences in coping with problems, and form a network of ongoing support outside the formal mental health and alcohol and other addictions services system.

No matter where you are on your journey, we’re here to help.
Whether you are looking to prevent addiction or learn healthy coping techniques, or if you or a loved one are desperately struggling and need help, we’re here every step of your journey. That includes working toward stabilizing life and maintaining recovery.

Workplace and community support
In addition to working directly with those struggling with mental health or addiction issues, we support workplaces and the broader community. Local employers can tap into AssistNOW, our Employee Assistance Program that provides your employees and their families have access to behavioral care support. Additionally, through our Forensic Mental Health programs, we support an individual’s re-entry into the community after a time of incarceration.
