Become a Recovery Resources volunteer
There are many ways to volunteer with Recovery Resources, and everything you do helps us maximize our grant and donation dollars for recovery services. There are things you can do that no one else can do, and there are big things we can do together through the efforts of many people.
Key volunteer opportunities include:
- Peer Supporter (for those with life experience only)
- Event Preparation
- Committee Participation
- Employment Mentoring
- Office Work
- In-Kind Donations of Goods and/or Services
- Associate Board of Directors
- Board of Directors
Other ways to volunteer your support
Invite a Recovery Resources speaker to your local community groups or ask about becoming a speaker for us.
Talk to your friends and family about recovery. Everyone who speaks up helps to diminish the stigma around addiction and mental health. It’s a matter of creating a groundswell, which begins with all of us.
Stay in touch by friending us on Facebook and reading our website blogs.
