Recovery Resources is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency, so we rely on the support of individuals and businesses in our community to help us fulfill our mission. Your contributions make lasting change possible for those struggling with mental health or addiction issues. All contributions are fully tax-deductible.

Make one-time or recurring gifts

Whether you can give once or regularly, your donation helps individuals receive the addiction and mental health services they need, regardless of their ability to pay. For your convenience, you can donate electronically with our easy-to-use online form.

Gifts to the annual fund are unrestricted, so they give us the most flexibility to use the monies wherever the need is greatest.

Helen’s Fund honors the memory of Helen K. Jones, former president & CEO of Recovery Resources. Donations to Helen’s Fund helps individuals receive the addiction treatment they need, regardless of ability to pay.

Funds donated in memory of Rajesh Gopalakrishna will be used to provide drug and alcohol treatment to individuals with limited financial resources.

Tom Keane was a long time and beloved member of the Employment Alliance team. As an enthusiastic and tireless advocate, Tom was always able to see beyond the diagnosis, challenges and barriers that our clients face. He never gave up until he managed to find them just the right job. Tom was a bringer of hope to all and an inspiration to those of us who were fortunate enough to know him and work with him.

Casey Coleman was a legendary sports broadcaster who covered Cleveland’s favorite sports teams and events for more than 25 years. He was known in the community as the voice of the Browns, but to Recovery Resources, he was simply our friend. As a staunch advocate for recovery, Casey lent his story of addiction with the hope to inspire others to seek help and to triumph over the disease of alcoholism.

Create your own fund

We can provide any assistance you want to establish a fund in memory of a loved one or dedicated to a specific cause close to your heart. We actively seek funds dedicated to dual diagnosis services, young adult prevention programs, women and children support services, and mental health services.

Give appreciated securities

Consider donating highly appreciated stocks from your portfolio. Compared with donating cash, or selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, you may potentially increase your gift and tax donation. If you would like to make a gift of appreciated stocks, bonds, mutual funds or real estate, please contact Ethan Krasnow at ekrasnow@recres.org.

Leave a legacy gift

For many, estate planning allows the opportunity to give more than at any other time in your life. If you desire to include Recovery Resources in your estate planning, we would be honored to work with you and your financial advisor to arrange for the type of gift you envision. We can also provide financial advisory services if you wish. Contact Ethan Krasnow at ekrasnow@recres.org to learn more.
