Mental health and addiction struggles are faced by countless individuals each year. Finding support during these struggles can be overwhelming. At Recovery Resources, we’re here to support our clients and their families. In addition to offering treatment for mental and behavioral health, addiction and gambling, we connect clients to resources at every stage of recovery to equip them to live their healthiest life.
Treatment
Treatment that changes lives
Addiction recovery services
Whether an individual needs treatment for the early stages of substance use or has been dependent on drugs and/or alcohol for a long time, Recovery Resources can help. Our outpatient services specialize in addressing the needs of those living with both an addiction disorder and a mental illness, those with an addiction disorder and HIV/AIDS, and those with an addiction disorder who are also living with the effects of trauma in their lives. Recovery Resources offers gender-specific programming, as appropriate.
Behavioral health services
Our behavioral health therapists serve adults with mental health needs, providing individual and group outpatient behavioral health counseling to help improve your sense of self and quality of life. If needed, we partner with MetroHealth to focus on whole health needs, particularly for those with a clinical mental health diagnosis or chronic health conditions.
Gambling recovery services
Recovery Resources provides prevention and treatment programs for those affected by a gambling addiction. Treatment services are available for both the client and their family members and can occur in conjunction with or separate from treatment with the gambler.
Walk-in now assessments
You can walk into our Old Brooklyn facility between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday – Friday for an assessment. Appointments also can be scheduled by calling 216-431-4131.
Warm Line support
The Warm Line is a peer-support phone line available to all adult residents of Cuyahoga County who may be experiencing mental illness and/or substance abuse problems.
Peer Support volunteers who staff the Warm Line are trained to provide a listening ear, make appropriate referrals and connect you to crisis intervention service providers as appropriate. They provide emotional support and understanding, share experiences in coping with problems, and form a network of ongoing support outside the formal mental health and alcohol and other addictions services system.
