Addressing Suicidal Ideation and Self-Injury
Suicidal ideation and self-injury can be overwhelming topics to address for those in the helping professions. While these behaviors can look similar there are often very different motivations and intervention strategies for these concerning actions. This training will highlight the differences between these two mental health concerns and identify warning signs, assessment strategies and effective intervention strategies helping professionals can use to maximize client safety.
