We offer comprehensive support, yet, we also know that we can’t do it alone. From emergency services to support groups, the resources in our community that exist outside of Recovery Resources have an important role to play. The ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County’s Mobile Crisis Team responds to suicide prevention and mental health or addiction crisis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The ADAMHS Board Warm Line connects people with trained peer support, as well as referrals to community resources, telephone counseling, and connection to the Mobile Crisis Team when necessary.

The United Way 211 Help Center provides free and confidential 24-hour access to people who can connect you to community resources for education, employment, food, clothing, healthcare, housing/utility support, legal services and more. Dial 211 or visit their website.

Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. Al-Anon

Al-Anon is a mutual support group of peers for families and friends of alcoholics. It is not group therapy, nor led by a counselor or therapist. Visit the Al-Anon website.
