Assist NOW: Employee assistance program

Assist NOW is our employee assistance program (EAP) for local employers. For over 45 years, we have partnered with area businesses and organizations to provide comprehensive mental health, professional development and wellness service to their employees.

Our EAP service is flexible and customizable to your organization’s culture. We offer a range of services, including counseling, training, drug-free safety training, referral services and crisis support.

Assist NOW services

Short-term counseling

Employees and their household members have access to up to four sessions per issue, per person, per year. Common issues include stress, workplace conflict, relationship difficulties, problems with drugs and alcohol, depression, anxiety or other mental health-related concerns. If ongoing support is needed, our counselors can make convenient and affordable referrals. Our trained counselors are available 24/7, 365 days per year to answer crisis calls at 216-431-4140.

Work-life referrals

Our work-life specialists are available to help with referrals for:

  • Adoption
  • Childcare
  • Older adult services
  • Education: K-12, higher education and continuing education
  • Wellness services
Legal ASSIST

The Legal ASSIST Program includes an over-the-phone consultation and referrals to local counsel if needed. Referrals include a free half-hour consultation, and in most incidences, a discount to their rate for further counsel.

Financial ASSIST

The Financial ASSIST Program connects employees to financial consultants and, when more specialized assistance is needed, access to qualified financial counselors.

Work-life coaching

Employees and their household members have access to four sessions with our work-life coaches where they can develop and work toward goals such as physical activity, positive relationships with food and body image, time management, stress management, and professional or personal development.

Perks at Work discount program

Employees and their household members can access up to 25% off name-brand,  everyday and luxury items through our “Perks at Work” program.

Online resource portal

Employees and their household members also have access to Assist NOW’s online resources:

Additional support services for employers

DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE

Assist NOW is a long-standing provider of Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation-approved training, education and consultation. We can assist your company in receiving significant discounts on your workers’ compensation rates while decreasing other health and safety risks.

HEALTH & WELLNESS

Assist NOW has experience in providing wellness program administration, from rollout to reporting of results. Wellness programs include but are not limited to the following areas:
