Gambling

Recovery Resources provides treatment for those affected by a gambling addiction. Services are available for both the client and their family members. To learn more about our services, contact Nora Larson at 216-923-1248 or nlarson@recres.org.

All gambling services are provided free of charge, thanks to funding provided by the ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County and Ohio for Responsible Gambling.

A problem gambling professional visits schools, agencies and organizations to educate students, staff and clients about the effects of problem gambling and how to prevent it.

Gambling assessments can help determine if you or someone else has a gambling problem. Our trained clinicians will make recommendations to help break the cycle of problem gambling. If help is needed, our certified gambling counselors are available to provide individual, couple and/or family counseling. We can help problem gamblers and their loved ones learn the skills that are needed to address gambling addiction.

The first step is to get a free assessment at one of our two locations. Walk-in assessments are available from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please bring a photo ID. You can also schedule an appointment by calling 216-431-4131 or using our online portal.
