Addiction

Mental health and addiction struggles are faced by countless individuals each year. Finding support during these struggles can be overwhelming. At Recovery Resources, we’re here to support our clients and their families. We provide treatment services for mental health, addiction and problem gambling at every stage of recovery.

Intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) consists of individual and group therapy for those who have been living with their addiction for a longer period, and for whom daily life has been significantly disrupted.  The composition of services is similar to that of outpatient treatment, though the frequency and duration of treatment is enhanced.  The goal of IOP is to obtain and maintain long-term recovery.

  • Continuum of dual diagnosis options to tailor services to specific needs and diagnoses
  • Additional support available to persons identifying as female through our Women and Family Services program

Outpatient treatment (OP) consists of individual and/or group therapy for those in the earlier stages of substance misuse with the goal of establishing recovery and preventing relapse.

  • Education about addiction risk factors, triggers, coping skills and plans for preventing relapse upon the completion of treatment
  • Toxicology screening and case management services

Our medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) program provides a comprehensive, individually tailored program of medication and behavioral therapy in response to opioid addiction. Participants receive medical, counseling, education and treatment services, in addition to the prescribed medication.

  • Eligibility:
Clients must meet the criteria for opiate use disorder.
  • Medications:
Medications relieve the withdrawal symptoms and psychological cravings that cause chemical imbalances in the body, providing a safe and controlled level of medication to overcome the use of an abused opioid. Our prescribers use both Buprenorphine and Naltrexone to treat individuals in the program.

Our women and family services intensive outpatient treatment (WAFS IOP) is designed for women 18+ in need of treatment for drug and/or alcohol addiction.
